India and Egypt's defence cooperation is growing, with their fourth joint Air Force exercise taking place from June 21-26. India's Ambassador to Egypt, Ajit Gupte, visited the Berighat Air Base to meet the Indian Air Force (IAF) contingent. The exercise, named HOPEX, includes participation from C-17, IL-78, and Rafale aircraft. Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his election victory, expressing hopes for strengthened bilateral ties. PM Modi acknowledged the support and emphasized the momentum in India-Egypt relations.
