Gunmen launched attacks at a synagogue, an Orthodox church, and a police post in Russia's Dagestan region, killing an Orthodox priest, multiple police officers, and civilians. The governor of Dagestan called it a "day of tragedy," with over 15 police officers killed in what is believed to be a terrorist attack. Six gunmen were shot and killed.
