A survey by LocalCircles found that 43% of air conditioner users in India find their units ineffective in reducing ambient temperatures to 23-24 degrees during the heatwave. The survey also revealed that air conditioners only reduce indoor temperatures by 20 degrees Celsius compared to outdoor temperatures.
