Eighties music icon, 71, reveals huge UK comeback gigs a decade after last tour
CYNDI Lauper is set to bring her first major tour in a decade to the UK.
Time After Time singer Cyndi, 71, has announced the UK and Europe leg of her Girls Just Wanna have Fun tour.

Cyndi will play some of the biggest arenas in the UK next February including OVO Hydro in Glasgow, BP Pulse Live in Birmingham and the newly opened Co-Op Live arena in Manchester.
The iconic singer will also take to the stage at London’s 20,000 seater O2 Arena.
Tickets for the shows go on sale on Friday June 28 to Mastercard cardholders at 10am.

Before making it to the UK, Cyndi will play a string of show’s across America in October, November and December.
Earlier this month Cyndi teamed up with Paramount+ for a special documentary, Let The Canary Sing, which looks back at her record-breaking career.
She was also honoured with an handprint ceremony at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles.
In dry humour, she previously said: ” I wasn’t going to do a documentary because I’m not dead.
“My first concert was to 14 people… and I did the encore.”
Keen to be in peak fitness as she takes to the road, Cyndi has taken up a gruelling fitness routine as well as vocal coaching four days a week.
Her weekly fitness plan is said to include weights, stretching, yoga, aerobics and physical therapy sessions.
Cyndi said: “When you’re a singer, you have to be an athlete.
“You can’t **** around. When you’re 20, yeah. But when you get older? No.”
