The Patchwork Girl is easily one of my favorite Oz characters, and there are so many things I love about this book. It’s interesting to me that after Book 6, The Emerald City of Oz, where Baum made his best attempt to end the series (he literally made Oz disappear), he comes back with one of his most complete, entertaining, and coherent stories.
