'Pathetic!' MAGA reacts with fury to CNN's cutting off Trump spokesperson's angry rant
Former President Donald Trump's followers were shocked Monday when a campaign spokesperson was not allowed to finish her angry rant on national television — and they didn't hold back.
Karoline Leavitt was forced to air her grievances on X instead after an attempted character attack on upcoming presidential debate moderator Jake Tapper spurred CNN anchor Kasie Hunt to cut the Trump spokeswoman's mic.
"You cut off my microphone for bringing up the debate moderator’s history of anti-Trump lies," Leavitt declared. "This proved our point that President Trump will not be treated fairly on Thursday."
Hunt also clarified on X her position on the matter, saying it was a question of respect.
"You come on my show, you respect my colleagues," Hunt wrote. "Period."
Moments before, Hunt had tried to ask Leavitt about the Trump campaign's conflicting messaging about this week's debate against President Joe Biden, whom they have described as both brilliant and "senile."
Leavitt preferred to bash Tapper and continued to do so despite a warning from Hunt that she would not be allowed to continue.
Hunt finally cut away from the remote interview and said Leavitt was welcome to return when she was ready to talk about her boss, Trump.
MAGA was outraged.
"You are clearly already biased if you are cutting off the microphone for Karoline," replied Valentina Gomez, the flamethrower-toting Republican Missouri Secretary of State candidate who celebrated Juneteenth by urging Black people to leave the U.S.
"Have some guts and debate on the facts."

"UNBELIEVABLE!" declared Ryan Fournier, the Students for Trump leader who was accused of defrauding followers and recently caught cracking jokes about a deadly bridge collapse in Baltimore, which he dubbed the "George Floyd Fentanyl Memorial Bridge."

Jake Posobiec — the Trump-embraced Pizzagate conspiracy theorist who the Southern Poverty Law Center warns has collaborated with white supremacists fascists and antisemites — called out both Hunt and Tapper for their reporting.
" CNN host CUTS OFF Trump spokeswoman the second she brings up Jake Tapper spending years comparing Trump to Adolf Hitler," he wrote. "This is a preview of how CNN will act during the debate."
Conservative podcaster Sean Parnell derided Hunt's decision to stop Leavitt from insulting Tapper, who was not there to defend himself against her attack on his professionalism, as "Such a pathetic joke."
