OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) - Oklahoma's Attorney General Gentner Drummond’s office is offering an Employment Law Conference on July 11 in Tulsa and July 18 in Oklahoma City.

According to the AG's Office, the conference is set to focus on emerging issues in employment law discrimination, including updates on equal employment practices, navigating social and political expression in the workplace and handling religious accommodations within employee dress codes.

“We’ve assembled a terrific group of attorneys to provide sessions on a variety of employment law topics,” said Eric Di Giacomo, acting chief of the Civil Rights Enforcement division at the attorney general’s office. “We look forward to bringing this program into the community to promote compliance among small businesses, human resources professionals and attorneys.”

Speakers will include representatives from the Office of the Attorney General, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and nationally recognized lawyers who practice employment law.

The conference begins at 9 a.m. and concludes at 4 p.m. each day.
