'It's not right': Organizer reacts to latest bodega stabbing
NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) – Police are still searching for the suspects involved in a fatal stabbing inside a bodega in Jamaica, Queens over the weekend.
And the latest deadly encounter is prompting bodega owners to declare a state of emergency. They're demanding action from Albany. Head of the United Bodegas of America Fernando Mateo joined PIX11 to discuss what it will take to make bodegas safer for workers and customers.
