Two Eunice men arrested in connection with burglaries of schools, businesses
EUNICE, La. (KLFY) -- Two people have been arrested in connection with a string of burglaries in the City of Eunice, as well as in St. Landry and Acadia parishes, authorities said.
Jeremy Guidroz, 40, of Eunice and Ronald Schoolcraft, 58, of Eunice are each charged with multiple counts of burglary.
Eunice Police allege the two are responsible for multiple burglaries of several businesses and a school property in the City of Eunice, as well as in St. Landry and Acadia parishes. The burglaries resulted in the thefts of thousands of dollars of equipment and tools from the businesses.
After the arrests, officers with the Eunice Police Department and deputies with the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office were able to recover a large amount of stolen property from a residence in Eunice where the stolen property was being stored, officials said.
Both were booked into the St. Landry Parish Jail. They also face charges in Acadia Parish. Bond details were not released.
