Jenna Dewan Shares Candid Breastfeeding Photos With Baby Rhiannon: ‘One Week of Bliss’

Thick in the throes of life with a newborn, Jenna Dewan is beaming. (And that’s impressive!) The dancer just shared an update about her daughter Rhiannon’s first week of life, which included candid breastfeeding photos, and she is absolutely stunning.

“One week of bliss,” the Step Up alum captioned the photos on Instagram Sunday. The first photo is a selfie taken from the hospital, where Dewan smiles with rosy cheeks and glossy lips as her baby girl nestles in the crook of her arm wrapped up in a blanket. Skip to slide 6 to see an intimate breastfeeding photo. Dewan sits on the couch, with her pink shirt unbuttoned and hanging partly off her shoulder. Rhiannon is dressed in a white shirt and tiny fluffy tutu (!!) as she nurses. The precious moment feels even more real as Dewan was caught mid-conversation (with her hand still in the air) and a plate with chips and salsa next to her.

In another photo, Rhiannon has skin-to-skin time with Dewan’s fiancé Steve Kazee. There’s also a photo of Dewan holding her daughter who looks like she’s smiling in her sleep like a perfect angel! A snap of Dewan hugging her son Callum, 4, who she shares with Kazee, is adorable. He smiles in her arms as his dad unbuckles Rhiannon from the infant carseat, and you can feel his joy at his new sister coming through the screen. Another notable photo features Dewan’s daughter Everly, 11, who she shares with ex Channing Tatum, holding her baby sister close to her chest. It looks like the first week of Rhiannon’s life couldn’t have gone better!

In the caption, Dewan shared more details about transitioning to three kids. “Back home and transitioning with the kids has been easier than I expected and so I’m here to remind you to always leave room in your mind for ease and lightness too ????,” she wrote.

The Rookie star announced the birth of her baby girl last week. “Rhiannon Lee Kathryn Kazee June 14, 2024 ????,” she wrote on Instagram. “From the moment you arrived, you have brought immense joy and love into our lives…” Dewan gushed in her caption. “Your gentle grace, sweetness, and beauty have captivated our entire family. Our hearts are overflowing with love, and we are truly blessed by your presence. Welcome to our world baby girl ????”

She also shared a video of the baby’s first moments, including meeting with her siblings. “… & our family is now whole ????” Dewan captioned it.

In a recent interview with PEOPLE, Dewan shared how she believes her kids keep her feeling young. “I do think there’s something about being in the energy of kids and their lives,” she told the outlet. “Just everything you go through while raising kids keeps you in a youthful place because that’s what you’re around. That’s your life.”

She added, “Life’s only shown me that the more time I have in this life, the more I’ve learned, the better experiences I’ve had. Everything just kind of feels better.”
