Four men arrested after ‘breaking into grounds of Rishi Sunak’s constituency home’ and staging ‘dirty protest’
FOUR men have been arrested after a “dirty protest” in the grounds of the Prime Minister’s constituency home.
Officers arrested the men within minutes of them entering the grounds of Mr Sunak’s home in Kirkby Sigston, North Yorkshire.
The incident happened at around 12.40pm , when the men were escorted off the property and arrested on suspicion of aggravated trespass.
The men are now in police custody.
There are reports that a youth activist wearing an ‘Eat s*** Rishi’ shirt staged a vile ‘dirty protest’ at the Prime Minister’s £2million mansion.
Photographs appear to show the youth being arrested by police at the scene.
Mr Sunak’s constituency home is in the village of Kirkby Sigston, just outside North Allerton.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: “We have arrested four people in the grounds of the Prime Minister’s constituency home this afternoon.
“Our officers were with the four men within one minute of them entering the grounds.
“They were detained at around 12.40pm before being escorted off the property and arrested on suspicion of aggravated trespass.
“The men aged 52 from London, 43 from Bolton, 21 from Manchester, and 20 from Chichester, remain in police custody for questioning and enquiries are ongoing.”
