Data: New York has 7th most DUI arrests in U.S.

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- According to experts at High Rise Legal Funding's analysis of FBI arrest offense count data, New York ranked among the states with the most DUI arrests in 2022. New York ranked seventh, following states like California, Wyoming, and Alaska.

New York had a rate of 479.61 arrests per 100,000 people in 2022. High Rise Legal Funding says that the amount of DUIs along with the already deemed dangerous roads from heavy traffic and aggressive driving makes New York a dangerous place to drive.
