OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — In an effort to combat overcrowding, the Oklahoma City Animal Shelter is hoping to find new homes for at least 100 pets at their upcoming "Dunkin for Adoptions" event.
The shelter plans to have food trucks, live music, vendors and even a dunk tank where every adopter will have the chance to dunk the shelter superintendent Jon Gary.
The adoption event will be held at 2811 SE 29th St. on Saturday, June 29, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with adoptions starting at noon.
A donation parade will also be held at noon for those looking to donate dry food, cat litter or cash.
