'Unknown circumstances': Body found in roadway near West Lake Hills

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Austin-Travis County EMS said one person was dead from “unknown circumstances” after a body was discovered in the roadway Wednesday.

ATCEMS said the body was found at 12:30 p.m. near the 4300 block of Westbank Drive near Camp Craft Road in West Lake Hills.

Medics obtained a “deceased on-scene” declaration without utilizing resuscitative efforts, according to ATCEMS.

Closures are expected in the area, according to ATCEMS.
