PTA Offers 15-Year Licenses for Streaming Services in Pakistan
Over-the-top (OTT) services could get a 15-year license in Pakistan, according to the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), which has suggested a new set of rules for these services.
The proposed strategy says that over-the-top (OTT) services are any kind of service or app that is offered over the Internet, with or without the help of network providers. Apps like WhatsApp for texting, Zoom for videoconferencing, Facebook, and streaming services like Netflix and YouTube are some examples.
