Kenyans faced the lingering smell of tear gas and military in the streets on Wednesday morning, a day after demonstrators stormed the parliament in protest of a contentious finance bill aimed at raising taxes. President William Ruto on Wednesday decided to withdraw the bill after police clashed with demonstrators, leaving at least 23 people dead.
