A RARE 251mph supercar with 24k gold-plated details has gone on the market for £2.6million.
The 1,500 bhp Koenigsegg Regera has a 5 litre V8 engine with three electronic motors that help produce the stunning power output.

The plug-in hybrid sports car was designed to be a more practical and luxurious alternative to the brand’s regular lightweight lineup.
The Koenigsegg can rocket from 0-60mph in a blistering 2.8 seconds but it is not just its speed and power which is a draw.
The flash 2020 supercar boasts £396,000 worth of stunning modifications and is available for a whopping £2.57million.
There are also gold-plated exterior logos, exhaust tip, filler caps, exterior mirror trim, door opener, and air vents.
And the slick black paint job has been finished off with gold leaf accents.
This particular vehicle heading under the hammer is one of just 85 produced across the globe.
The supercar also has just over 1,500 miles on the clock, as reported by Luxury Auto News.
The unique motor will now be heading to auction in Monterey, California, US on 15 to 17 August.
An RM Sotheby’s spokesperson said: “The Koenigsegg marque has proven an individual with a dream can, in fact, take on the establishment and win.
“The company’s philosophy of building innovative and revolutionary cars continues to shine through in every aspect of their brilliant Regera.
“A technological tour de force, this landmark model—as so ably demonstrated by this stunning, low-mileage example—was an instant entrée to the annals of hypercar history and one whose appreciation and reverence will only continue to grow in years to come.”
A spokesperson added: “Gold leaf striping was then cast upon the front and side intakes as well as over the center of the body to further accentuate the Regera’s curvaceous design.
“Bespoke furnishings continue in the form of 24K gold-plated exterior logos and shields, headlamp hardware, exhaust tip, filler caps, exterior mirror trim, door opener, and air vents.”
The estimate for the sale is up to £2.57million.
