Opelousas Police on scene of body found

OPELOUSAS, La. (KLFY) – Opelousas Police are currently on the scene of a body found.
According to Opelousas Police, officers responded to a call about a body found on S. Union Street around 6 p.m. On scene, police found a middle aged black man, dead.
Investigators are treating it as a suspicious death, but do not suspect foul play. The identity has not been released until family has been notified.
