Dean McDermott Celebrates One Year of Sobriety: 'A Beautiful World Awaits You'

Dean McDermott is marking a major milestone in his sobriety journey.

On Tuesday (July 2), the 57-year-old actor took to his Instagram to reveal that he recently celebrated hitting one of sobriety.

“Last week was an incredible week of love, hugs and recovery. Thank you to my Sponsor, my Sponsee Brothers and everyone in the fellowship for celebrating my 1 year birthday,” Dean started.

Along with his message, Dean shared a photo of a countdown board, several AA milestone chips, and a card that read, “You are literally the most amazing person.”

Last fall, Dean opened up about the end of his marriage to Tori Spelling and admitted that his alcohol addiction was a major factor in their split.
