Leeds United Star Doesn’t Want Fresh Loan Deal
Leeds United defender Diego Llorente does not want another loan next season and is keen for a permanent exit from Elland Road.
The Whites loaned him out to Italian side Roma in the 2023 January transfer window and it was then extended last summer to cover last season.
Roma are open to keeping hold of Llorente, but only want to sign him on another loan deal, while Real Betis are seeking a permanent transfer for the Leeds man.
Llorente has his own thoughts about what he would like to happen and, according to Spanish outlet Relevo, he does not want another loan.
The centre-back wants certainty over where he will be for a longer period and is keen for a permanent move.
The Leeds star does not want to be in the same position next summer, which he feels would be the case if he went out on loan again.
Real Betis have a good relationship with Leeds and have just done business with the Whites to sign Marc Roca.
They are now in direct talks with the Championship club in a bid to find an agreement for Llorente, with different deal formulas being explored.
