Another Heat Advisory with More Scattered Rain

Most of Acadiana is under another Heat Advisory this Wednesday. Temperatures are starting in the lower 80s followed by highs in the mid to upper 90s. Heat Index values will range from 105° to 112° today. Lafayette reach 100° yesterday and tied a record from the late 1800s. Scattered storms are possible too with rain chances back at 40%.
A few showers will fade away this evening. The Independence Day Celebration in Youngsville tonight looks very warm and muggy with temperatures still in the mid-80s around 9:00 pm. Overall, the weather won't impact festivities significantly.
