Fourth of July Scrabble tournament comes to Colonie
COLONIE, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- The top 100 Scrabble competitors will gather at the Marriott Albany on Wolf Road in Colonie for a Fourth of July Scrabble Tournament. Starting Wednesday at 2:30 p.m., top competitors of the board game will participate in the 27-game run.
The tournament will be live-streamed on YouTube and conclude on Sunday, July 7. Spectators can access the livestream through the Let's Play Scrabble YouTube channel.
Tournament director Josh Greenway said the tournament is more than just competition; it celebrates language, competition, and camaraderie. "We're thrilled to bring this unforgettable Scrabble experience to Albany and share the best of the best with the world through our live stream," he said.

- Wednesday, July 3: 2:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
- Thursday, July 4: 11:30 a.m. to 6:45 p.m.
- Friday, July 5: 9:30 a.m. to 6:45 p.m.
- Saturday, July 6: 9:30 a.m. to 6:45 p.m.
- Sunday, July 7: 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
