Lieutenant Commander Ryan P. Mitchell becomes the commanding officer of the Marine Safety Unit Toledo during a U.S. Coast Guard Change of Command Ceremony Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at Maumee Bay State Park in Oregon. Mr. Mitchell replaces outgoing Lieutenant Commander Patrick J. Brown, who has served as commander since June 2021.
