PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A third suspect has been arrested as part of an investigation into an armed robbery of a Salem convenience store last month, authorities said.

According to the Salem Police Department, a 15-year-old boy was arrested Wednesday and accused of being involved with an armed robbery at the US Market on 12th Street SE on June 24. Police had responded around 10 p.m. that evening on reports of an armed robbery.

Last month, police said they had arrested 23-year-old Barry Johnson and a 16-year-old boy in connection to the robbery. Police said surveillance footage showed two people inside the store, wielding guns, demanding cash and merchandise.

The car that the suspects fled the scene in was reportedly stolen.

During the arrest at an apartment near 1200 Peace Street SE, authorities seized two semi-automatic rifles, ammunition and some of the merchandise allegedly stolen in the robbery.

The third suspect was arrested early Wednesday morning after a Salem Police SWAT team responded to his residence near 4300 Burlington Loop NE. He was lodged in the Marion County Juvenile Department and charged with first-degree robbery, unlawful use of a weapon, unlawful firearm possession, menacing and unlawful use of a car.

With this latest arrest, police said all the suspects in connection to the robbery have been arrested.
