Plea deal withdrawn after suspect does not appear in court

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A plea deal for a suspect accused of killing someone in February has been withdrawn. The Albany County District Attorney's Office said Keron Payne did not appear in court on Wednesday for a possible plea to a manslaughter charge.

Payne is accused of killing 30-year-old Jieshi Williams during a fight on Clinton Avenue. The case is now expected to go to trial.

A start date as has not been set, yet.
