Uganda withdraws from CAF Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers

KAMPALA, July 4 (Xinhua) -- Uganda has withdrawn from the qualifiers of the 2024 CAF Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations.

The draw with 14 teams was conducted last month by the Confederation of Africa Football (CAF).

Edgar Watson Suubi, CEO of the Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA), confirmed to Xinhua on Thursday that they had withdrawn in order to focus on specific competitions.
