One injured in Northeast Columbus shooting

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) One person was injured in a shooting near Easton Town Center on Thursday evening, according to police.

Columbus police dispatchers told NBC4 a person arrived at a local hospital suffering from a gunshot wound around 8:45 p.m. They noted the original shooting happened on Morse Crossing, but did not specify an intersection.

Police are investigating, but have not shared a possible cause of the shooting, the condition of the victim or any information on a possible suspect as of 9:30 p.m.
