Shiv Sena leader Sandeep Thapar, a descendant of martyr Sukhdev Thapar, was attacked with swords by a group of Nihangs outside Ludhiana Civil Hospital. Police protection has been provided to Thapar. The attackers escaped, and Thapar was rushed to DMC hospital for treatment. Shiv Sena leaders protested against the police administration in response to the incident.
