As the Indian cricket team arrived back home from Barbados, lots of fans had gathered outside the airport to catch a glimpse of the T20 World Cup winners. The players were seen dancing and enjoying with the fans before they left for the ITC Mauryas hotel.

Special cake was prepared for the team at the hotel

To celebrate the occasion, a special cake was prepared by the staff at the ITC Mauryas hotel. The cake looked quite beautiful and the players also looked very happy after seeing it.

Meeting with PM Narendra Modi

After relaxing a little at the hotel, the Indian Team had a meeting with Prime Minister, Narendra Modi at his Delhi residence. The PM asked various questions to the players and later took photos with some players’ families as well.

The victory parade in Mumbai

After meeting PM Modi, the team flew to Mumbai where they were welcomed by thousands of fans at the airport. They also held a victory parade from Marine Drive to the Wankhede Stadium.

After the victory parade, the Indian Team went inside the Wankhede stadium for the felicitation ceremony. The ceremony saw speeches from various players and BCCI also awarded the team with the prize money for the tournament. It was an unforgettable night for both fans and players alike.
