ARLINGTON, July 5 (Xinhua) -- Venezuela manager Fernando Batista lamented his team's elimination from the Copa America on Friday but predicted the tournament could prove a turning point for the Vinotinto's fortunes.

Batista's men won each of their three group matches here - against Ecuador, Mexico and Jamaica - before losing on penalties to Canada in their quarterfinal at AT&T Stadium.
