Hijrah: Katsina declares Monday work-free day

The Katsina State Governor, Mallam Dikko Umaru Radda, has declared Monday, July 8, 2024, as a work-free day to commemorate the new Islamic year. Radda said the work-free day was to enable all workers in the state to join other Muslims in the celebration of the new year (1446 after the Hijrah of Prophet Muhammad
