Man pleads to wire fraud charge after stealing $623,000 from Lucas County

A Philadelphia man who stole more than $600,000 from the Lucas County Auditor’s Office in 2020 by setting up a fake bank account in the name of a county contractor pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud Tuesday in federal court.
