Police arrest three people after chase in SW Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — Three suspects are in custody after leading police on a chase that ended on foot in SW Oklahoma City.
The pursuit began near West Reno Avenue and South Portland Avenue. The driver ran several red lights and hit a car before driving onto I-240.
The pursuit ended when the suspects pulled into a parking lot near the Burger King on South May and SW 74th Street where they exited the vehicle, grabbed several bags from the trunk and ran off.
Police say all three suspects were taken into custody.
Authorities say the suspects fled after attempting to cash-in a fraudulent check at the Midfirst Bank on Northwestern Avenue and Northwest Grand Boulevard.
