Jon Bon Jovi Mourns Death of His Mom Carol: 'She Will Be Greatly Missed'
Jon Bon Jovi has announced that his mom has sadly passed away.
Carol Bongiovi died on Tuesday (July 9) at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch, New Jersey, just three days before her 84th birthday.
Following Carol‘s death, Jon, 62, released a statement mourning his mother on behalf of their family.

Along with being the founder of the official fan club for Jon‘s rock band, Bon Jovi, Carol was also an entrepreneur and U.S. Marine veteran.
Carol is survived by her husband of 63 years, Jon Sr., as well as three sons and daughters-in-law: Jon and wife Dorothea, Anthony and Nina Yang Bongiovi, and Matthew and Desiree Bongiovi, as well as eight grandchildren.
