GHD launches new tool to rival Dyson Airwrap for wet to dry styling and it’s £150 cheaper
A bouncy, salon-quality blow-dry no longer requires travelling to the hairdressers and shelling out 50 quid.
From Airwaps to blowdry wands, we’ve seen huge innovations in hair styling tools over the past few years – but there’s one more exciting launch that has just landed on our laps.

Put down your Airwraps, GHD is launching a rival blow-dry tool, at a fraction of the price.
Promising a big, bouncy and more defined blowout, the new GHD Duet Blowdry Brush is a 2-in-1 hairdryer brush, which has been designed to cut styling time (and effort) in half.
Just like the acclaimed Duet Style, it can be used on wet hair and dries and styles simultaneously.
The first-of-its-kind styler uses Heat-Air Xchange Technology, which works by heating the barrel and bristles through an aerodynamic system, meaning the tool uses 40% less energy than a typical hairdryer.
Unique to GHD, the system also offers 50% more shine and 3x more volume, compared to leaving your hair to air dry, and promises ‘No Heat Damage’, thanks to its temperature sensor which checks the heat of your hair 400 times per second.

This feature reduces the risk of dryness and breakage and ensures the tool is at the perfect temperature for optimum styling – meaning your style is more defined and lasts longer.
Its classic hot brush design features an elliptical barrel plate, which enables you to style close to the roots – resulting in a bigger, bouncier style.

For an effortless blowout, wind your hair around the barrel and leave it in place for a few seconds while the tool’s controlled airflow gently dries and styles your hair, before gently removing it.
Often, this bit can be tricky, as your hair will catch and snag on the bristles, leaving you with knots, frizz and even breakage.
However, the GHD Duet Blowdry features snag-free heated bristles, which not only help style and define but also reduce tangles.
You’ll be left with bouncy, textured curls that can either be brushed out into loose waves or combed with fingers for a tighter bounce that’ll last up to 24 hours, pipping most other styling tools to the post.
Scanning at £150 less than a Dyson Airwrap, the GHD Duet Blowdry is well worth investing in, and frankly easier to use.
