Casa Amor girls reveal the ‘real reason’ Emma dumped Konnor and slept apart from him – as cast face mass dumping
LOVE Island star Konnor Ewudzi ‘turned off’ Emma Milton with an unfortunate bad habit, according to the Casa Amor girls.
Emma shocked fans this week when she did dramatic U-turn on Konnor and ended her romance with him.
Love Island’s Emma has ditched Konnor[/caption] But her Casa Amor pals have revealed why she has done a U-turn[/caption]The brunette beauty had told Konnor that she was unsure about how their romance was panning out and kicked him to the kerb.
Emma was then seen sleeping on a day bed, leaving Konnor alone in their main bed in the villa.
But Emma’s Casa Amor gal pals aren’t certain that she is telling the whole truth when it comes to her reason for ending things.
Axed ladies Diamonté, Lucy and Ruby shared their thoughts on Love Island‘s official podcast, Love Island: The Morning After.
Host and former islander Amy Hart asked: “What is it about Konnor, because he was single going in there, he’s a good looking boy and he seems really nice?
“What is it that is turning everyone off of Konnor?”
Diamonté replied: “I think it’s the snoring, because Konnor snores and Emma does not like snoring.
“She wears earplugs and I don’t think she could cope with the snoring any longer. Other than that, I genuinely cannot think of any issues with Konnor at all. He’s too genuine.”
Love Island fans have since shared Diamonté’s theory on social media, with one writing on X: “Now we know why they run from Konnor with the K. He snores loudly!”
Another posted their thoughts on Reddit, adding: “On the podcast the Casa Girls said that Konnor snores, and Emma hates snoring, so that recontextualizes her choosing to sleep upstairs after ending things with him. Whole time I thought, ‘she must HATE this man’.”
Emma wasn’t the only islander to do a reverse this week, as Grace Jackson has also called it quits with Casa boy Blade Siddiqui.
Grace told Blade that she didn’t think they had any romantic chemistry and, like Konnor, the news came as a shock to him.
It it all set to change in the villa again, however, as a the islanders now face a mass dumping.
Hours after the departure of Wil Anderson, who was dumped, and Uma Jammeh, who made the decision to follow him and quit, a huge cull is on the cards.
Love Island series 11 - feuds in the villa
No edition of Love Island is complete without its fair share of drama - and series 11 is no different. Here's a look at some of the most fiery feuds so far.
- Joey Essex & Samantha Kenny: Samantha entered the villa on Day 1 and was initially coupled with Sam Taylor. However, Samantha was ‘stolen’ by Joey, the first bombshell of series 11. She was ‘dumped’ on Day 16 – with the make-up artist saying she had been brutally snubbed by Joey in the villa – although it never made it to air.
- Matilda Draper & Jess White: While Matilda arrived as a bombshell on Day 12, Jess was part of the original line-up. The two clashed in Casa Amor, over Jess’ frustration that Matilda was talking to new hunk Hugo Godfroy – who Jess previously snogged.
- Harriet Blackmore & Jess White: The two women were caught up in a love triangle for much of their time on the programme. The pair were fighting over Ronnie Vint, 27, from Greenwich, who wound up being dumped alongside Harriett.
The dumpings have already taken place but will air on screens tonight and it has certainly set the cat among the pigeons.
Love Island finishes in three weeks’ time and bosses have decided to cut down the headcount, as there is only a handful of committed couples in play.
A source said: “Logistically there are too many people in that villa right now, but in terms of the flow of the show the sheer amount of singles is a big no-no.
“The central premise of the show is to remain on Love Island, you have to be in a couple.
“Bosses staged a mega cull and it shook things up.”
