18-year-old found dead in water in Brooklyn: police
BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) – An 18-year-old man was found dead in water in Brooklyn Wednesday, police said.
The 18-year-old’s body was found in water near Allen Avenue and Garland Court in the Gerritsen Beach neighborhood around 4:50 p.m., according to the NYPD.
Authorities sent harbor and aviation units to the scene.
The New York City medical examiner’s office will determine the 18-year-old’s cause of death.
Additional information about his death wasn’t immediately available.
