Athletics place C Tyler Soderstrom (wrist) on 10-day injured list

The Oakland Athletics placed catcher Tyler Soderstrom on the 10-day injured list on Thursday because of a bone bruise in his left wrist.

The move is retroactive to Wednesday. In a corresponding move, the Athletics selected the contract of outfielder Seth Brown from Triple-A Las Vegas.
