Two arrested for cannabis and ecstasy possession

A man and a teenage boy were arrested on drug possession charges in Paphos, police said on Friday.

During a raid at 5.30pm on Thursday at the home of a 33-year-old man, officers found another 17-year-old living in the home as well, along with 5g of cannabis and ecstasy pills.

The older man admitted to the drugs being for his personal use.

However, officers found another 45g of cannabis, grinders, and cannabis resin in another part of the home.

The 17-year-old said he was the drugs were his.

Police arrested both individuals. The 33-year-old was kept in custody, while the teen was released after being charged.
