IBBI Chief Ravi Mital urged insolvency professionals to prioritise transparency, provide comprehensive information to stakeholders, and expedite the resolution of stressed assets for better recovery. He assured that genuine innovations in the resolution process will not face consequences. The Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code has facilitated the return of over Rs 3.4 lakh crore to creditors since its implementation in 2016. Mital emphasised the importance of selling assets as going concerns to benefit all parties involved.
