Heritage Foundation imagines Biden clinging to power with Barbra Streisand kidnap plot
The right-wing Heritage Foundation, which has been instrumental in drafting the controversial "Project 2025" plan, recently released a report that featured a number of highly outlandish scenarios by which President Joe Biden will try to illegally cling to power should he lose the 2024 election.
The Washington Post reports that Heritage's "war games" included a scenario in which Biden would try to use a national emergency to remain in power -- in this case, singer Barbra Streisand getting kidnapped by Islamist terrorist organization Hamas.
In the war game, however, Biden's effort to use the Streisand kidnapping as justification for remaining president did not succeed because "she was rescued the next day."
But this wasn't the only wild scenario contemplated by the think tank, whose president recently raised alarms when he said that President Donald Trump and his movement were leading a "second American revolution" that would be "bloodless" so long as the left did not resist it.

Among other things, reports the Post, Heritage's war gamers imagined scenarios such as "Antifa-BLM protesters taking over a migrant detention facility" and "the FBI arresting Donald Trump two days after winning the election."
They concluded that Biden would try to remain in power illegitimately and was the greatest threat to the peaceful transition of power, despite the fact that Trump completely upended the transition of power in 2020 when he lied about losing the election, tried to pressure the Department of Justice and the Georgia secretary of state into helping him overturn it, and then inciting a deadly riot at the Capitol.
