No Mbappe but French make it to the Euros final with Letexier to referee
July 12 – After all the fuss surrounding the appointment of German referee Felix Zwayer to England’s semi-final game against the Netherlands (it turned out pretty well for the English), UEFA has given the final to François Letexier from France.
An international referee since 2017, the 35-year-old has already officiated at 65 official UEFA matches including three group stage matches, including Spain-Georgia, Denmark-Serbia and Croatia-Albania at this Euros. He also acted as a fourth official at the opening match between Germany and Scotland in Munich.
