Julian Primeaux inducted into the Louisiana Hall of Fame
LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) - Local musician Julian Primeaux will be inducted into the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame on Friday, July 12.
A Lafayette native, Julian composed original music inspired by the Southern swamp blues, roots, and gospel, incorporating tales from his personal experiences and perspectives on life, love, and the afterlife. At a young age, he performed live regularly.
Over the years, his music was performed nationally from several stages across the states, including a performance at Times Square in New York. His music was even performed across the Atlantic in European venues and festivals. In addition to his solo work, he is also a guitarist for the renowned Zydeco musician Corey Ledet. In 2022, Julian became a Grammy nominee for his performance on Corey Ledet's album.
Julian Primeaux's induction into the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame is a testament to his remarkable contributions to the world of music and will be recognized at The Hideaway on Lee at 8pm.
