Preview: Boroughmuir Thistle (H)
A chance to see our new faces in action as the Hibees' pre-season gets under way this weekend!
THE LOWDOWN
Hibs Women host city neighbours Boroughmuir Thistle in our first pre-season fixture.
The match kicks off at 1pm at Meadowbank Stadium on Sunday 14 July, 2024.
It will be an opportunity for supporters to view our six new summer signings in action alongside their new teammates.
Head Coach Grant Scott has already confirmed there will be plenty of rotation to allow every available player minutes on the park.
THE VISITORS
Boroughmuir Thistle finished 4th in the eight-team Scottish Women's Premier League 2 last season, earning 40 points in total.
A seven-game unbeaten streak helped the fellow Edinburgh outfit round out their season in a positive manner.
TEAM NEWS
Summer arrivals Erin Clachers, Stacey Papadopoulos, Ciara Grant, Linzi Taylor, Kirsten Reilly and Kathleen McGovern are all available to play.
As confirmed by Scott earlier in the week, striker Eilidh Adams and midfielder Rachael Boyle have returned to light training and could participate.
Rosie Livingstone is unlikely to take part however, as she continues her recovery from a back injury sustained towards the end of the last season.
