OHP cancels Kasey Alert for missing Arkoma woman after body found
ARKOMA, Okla. (KNWA/KFTA) — The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has canceled a Kasey Alert for a woman who was reported missing on July 8 after a body was found in Arkoma.
A social media post from OHP said Harmoni Jacks, 24, of Arkoma, was last seen around 2:27 a.m. on July 7 driving towards Arkoma from Pocola in LeFlore County. She went missing under "suspicious circumstances", OHP said.
There is a heavy police presence at the intersection of Main Street (State Highway 9A) and Young Avenue.
Arkoma Police Chief Michael Ivy told KNWA/FOX24 they have found a woman's body that matches the description of Jacks along with a vehicle matching the description.
The medical examiner is on the scene, Ivy said.
