Cooper Flagg’s Epic Year Continues With An ESPY
If he’sold enough, he should buy a lottery ticket while he’s hot.
Former Blue Devil Jayson Tatum is having a phenomenal year as we noted recently: NBA championship #18 with the Boston Celtics, a massive contract extension, NBA2K25 cover and odds are that he’ll soon have a gold medal at the Paris Olympics.
Nobody’s topping that, but Cooper Flagg is having a pretty good year too. He had a tremendous run at Peach Jam and other camps, got to choose between Duke and UConn for his collegiate experience, broke the news on the cover of Slam!, had a real star turn with the Select Team against Team USA and now has won an ESPY.
Life won’t always be like this for the kid but it is now and as long as he understands that the surfboard always ends up at the beach, we really hope he’s enjoying the ride.
