Raju Barman, the main suspect in the murder of Tripura's Bharat Ratna Sangha Club Secretary Durga Prasanna Deb, also known as Vicky, has been remanded to eight days of police custody as of Friday. He was arrested in Assam's Guwahati and returned to Tripura on Thursday. The following day, he was presented before the Chief Judicial Magistrate in West Tripura, who mandated his custody until July 20 according to officials.
