I remember going there and watching Blues get horsewhipped 4-1 by Crewe Alexandra, panicking because we were starting a Premier League season at Old Trafford roughly three weeks later.
We nearly got a draw at Old Trafford and finished 9th in the league. Crewe finished that season 18th in League Two.
