Previous Prime Days have seen major price cuts on items from major brands like Ninja, GHD, Samsung and Sony.
This time around is set to be no different, with MSE predicting a discount of up to 40% on the Ninja Speedi 10-in-1 rapid air fryer.
Other top deals could include around 30% off the GHD Original hair straightener, 45% off QuietComfort headphones from Bose and a whopping 68% reduction for Oral-B’s iO5 toothbrush.
Amazon will also apparently offer its “lowest prices of the year” on brands like Barbie, L’Oreal and Shark.
Some of the biggest savings are likely to be found on Amazon’s own products, such as Ring doorbells, which could see as much as 65% off.
Likewise, the Echo home assistant is expected to see a drop, with the last Prime sale in October seeing more than 50% sliced off the price of a number of devices.
The MSE team also said that there is a “good chance” of deals on Lego, Apple AirPods, Garnier products and SodaStreams, among others.
However, they did warn that some of the offers would be “lightning deals” and only available for a very short time.
They explained: “Some deals will last for the duration of the promotion, and others will be launched as often as every five minutes and last for a limited time, usually between three and 12 hours, or while stock lasts.”
And they also urged shoppers to look out for “duds” and compare prices rigorously – just because something is reduced on the site doesn’t mean that is the cheapest you can get it.
They added: “Don’t allow yourself to be taken in by the hype and sucked into buying something you don’t need or can’t afford.
“Always do your own price comparisons to ensure you’re getting the best deal possible.”
You will have to have a Prime account to access the deals, with the subscription costing £8.99 a month.
For those who have never had an account before, the 30-day free trial includes all the benefits of full membership.
Students can also get six months of Prime for free and 50% off membership beyond that.
Amazon Prime Day takes place between 12.01am on July 16 and 11.59pm on July 17.
