I could’ve cried after my girl, 3, covered house in white paint after leaving room for SECONDS – it was never-ending
A MUM has told how she could have cried after her youngest daughter covered her sitting room in white paint in just seconds – with little footprints scattered downstairs.
Jennifer O’Meara said Heidi, three, got very creative after she briefly left the room – with her artwork covering the floors and windows.
The mum, from Co Offaly, told us: “It happened while I washed my hands.
“I was getting the paint ready to paint and my three-year-old walked out covered in paint – all I could see was her eyes blinking at me.
“It was like she poured it on herself and went rubbing around my sitting room.
“I had to wash her first because she could barely see me but it came off her very easy.”
But Jennifer said it took her at least three hours to clean the “never-ending” paint.
The mum-of-five added: “It took me a while to get it all off.
“I still have bits here and there but elbow grease and a scrubber was my best friend.
“When she came out to me I thought it was just her covered in paint until I saw the footprints going from the kitchen to the sitting room and then the rest.. if I didn’t laugh I would have cried.”
She added: “We call her Heidi ‘Houdini’ because she’s always up to something.
“She is my youngest, she’s the quietest child I have but she’s capable of anything.
“We will have the video for her 18th birthday.”
Jennifer shared the shock moment she discovered the mess with her followers on TikTok.
She joked in the video: “If anyone is thinking about having kids anytime soon, I hope to God that this is your contraception. I really do.”
And a number of people rushed to the comments and said they shared her “pain”.
One person wrote: “Omg I know this feeling my one and a half year old opened paint and it was all over my house, so hard to clean it.”
Another added: “Very creative kids.”
Someone else said: “Omg! wish I seen this 8 years ago.”
And another mum has been left horrified after her daughter got a whole pack of Bunchems stuck in her hair and it took seven hours to remove them.
The shocked parent uploaded a video showing the little girl’s hair completely matted with the tiny round balls thoroughly embedded inside.
On her @veezybabyyy13 account, she said: “That one time my daughter got bunchems in her hair.
“Took seven hours to remove them.”
Bunchems are little plastic toys which kids can connect together to make different shapes.
